The Capps-Batavia Fire Department is a volunteer department that depends on community support to purchase and maintain the equipment needed to protect our district.
Real property owners in our district already give the department its largest source of revenue: mandatory dues, voted in by our membership and collected with property tax bills. Depending on the year, dues account for 75 to 80 percent of our revenue. Donations cover the rest, and they help with everything dues alone cannot.
